Repairs Manager

Hoistway is seeking an experienced and motivated Repairs Manager to lead our Repairs and Service function. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone passionate about operational excellence, team development, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. 🏗️🔧

Scope of the Role

As the Repairs Manager at Hoistway, you will take full ownership of the Repairs and Service function. You will lead and develop high-performing teams, oversee planning and parts sourcing, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure seamless communication between clients, engineers, and internal departments.

This role is vital in driving efficiency, improving performance, and supporting Hoistway’s continued growth and reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Manage, motivate, and develop the Repairs team to achieve high performance.
• Foster a proactive, solutions-focused culture focused on quality and efficiency.

Operations & Performance

• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to enhance performance and productivity.
• Oversee repair planning, scheduling, and resourcing to maximise efficiency.

Planning & Parts Coordination

• Ensure effective sourcing, allocation, and availability of parts for repair works.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to minimise downtime.

Stakeholder Communication

• Maintain strong communication with clients, engineers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Provide regular updates on repairs progress and service performance.

Health & Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all activities fully comply with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Support and drive best practice standards across the function.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify improvement opportunities and support initiatives that enhance service delivery.
• Contribute to process optimisation and organisational growth.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Repairs or Service operations, ideally in the lift/elevator industry.
• Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Results-driven with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and operational governance.
